Let’s chat about yours.

Say Hello
Such a thoughtful idea from our Simply Perfect cou Such a thoughtful idea from our Simply Perfect couple, Sean & Nia… handwritten letters for every guest.

A beautiful way to reflect on the memories you share with the people around the table, and to let them know how much it means that they travelled to celebrate with you.

Sometimes the smallest gestures become the most meaningful part of the day. ✉️

Flashback to the fabulous Nia & Shaun and their ic Flashback to the fabulous Nia & Shaun and their iconic summer wedding day late last year. We loved how their black & white colour scheme was a consistent thread throughout their day, even down to their custom matching Swarovski crystal jackets.

This is what happens when love meets style and a whole lot of heart.

Q: When should I apply for my New Zealand marriage Q: When should I apply for my New Zealand marriage licence?
A: You can apply as early as 3 months before your wedding date, but it must be submitted at least 3 working days before your ceremony, and once issued it’s valid for 3 months.

A marriage licence is your legal ticket to tying the knot here in Aotearoa, and getting the timing right helps keep everything on track.

Here’s the timing breakdown:
✔ Apply up to 3 months before your wedding
✔ Allow at least 3 working days before your ceremony for processing
✔ Your licence must be used within 3 months of issue — your wedding needs to fall in that window (source: www.weddingsnewzealand.com)

Your celebrant needs to receive the licence before the ceremony, and once you, your celebrant and your witnesses sign it on the day, you’re officially married under NZ law.

If you’ve got questions about the process (especially for overseas couples or celebrants), we’re here to help 🗓🤍

Planning a wedding with a baby (or two)? It’s abso Planning a wedding with a baby (or two)? It’s absolutely doable… you just need a slightly different strategy.

Here are a few things that make it smoother:

• Build flexibility into your timeline
Babies don’t run on strict schedules. Leave buffer time between hair, photos, and ceremony so no one feels rushed.

• Have a dedicated support person
A trusted friend, family member, or sitter whose only job is baby care on the day. That way, you’re not juggling responsibilities in your wedding outfit.

• Choose a baby-friendly getting-ready space
Natural light, space to move, and somewhere quiet for naps makes a huge difference.

• Plan feeding breaks intentionally
Factor them into your timeline rather than hoping they’ll magically fit.

• Lower the pressure
Some photos might not go exactly as planned. Some moments might be messy. That’s okay. It’s part of your story.

Weddings with babies often feel even more meaningful… just plan for real life, not perfection.

If you’re planning with a little one in tow, we see you 🤍

It isn’t.

It’s layout decisions, lighting placement, linen choices, timing, and about fifty tiny tweaks you’ll never see… but absolutely feel.

And yes… we love every second of it!
