Charlotte and Dijon eloped to Queenstown this autumn and gee wiz it was a beautiful ceremony to be part of! Charlotte, a Sydney-based florist, designed and created her own bouquet, flower crown and Dijon’s buttonhole, the pair stopping off frequently during their South Island road trip to forage for native thyme, ferns and berries to accent their stunning jewel-toned flowers. We were lucky enough to fly to the top of Queenstown Hill with the lovely Tracey Maclaren and Williams Photography to get the pair married – with an unbelievable backdrop that had us all in tears (okay, maybe helped a bit by the crisp wind!!). The newly-wed couple were then whisked away for some intimate lakeside portraits and were met with another amazing gift from nature – a fiery sunset that lit up the sky. It was an absolutely pleasure to help Charlotte and Dijon elope and we wish them all the love, happiness and success as they start the next chapter in their lives, welcoming their new baby! ♡
