One timeline detail we wish couples thought about One timeline detail we wish couples thought about earlier is.... what their guests will be doing while they’re away taking photos.⁠ ⁠ If you’re planning on disappearing for an hour after the ceremony, look at that hour from your guests’ perspective.⁠ ⁠ Have drinks ready rather than making everyone queue at the bar. Start canapés early enough that hungry guests aren’t clock-watching. Give older guests somewhere to sit. Think about shade in summer and warmth when the temperature drops.
