A Black tie affair…Anna & Josh get married!
It was an incredible summer’s day at the end of January when Anna + Josh were married here in Queenstown. Their ceremony was held at St Paul’s church in Arrowtown where Anna’s dad helped preside over the ceremony as a visiting vicar from Australia. After the intimate, heartwarming ceremony all the guests headed off to Peregrine for a stunning reception on the open air rooftop venue (they were incredibly lucky to have one of the very few days that this is even possible in Gibbston Valley!). Their cool and classy black tie affair was an event not to be missed with nearly 100 Australians making the trip over the Tasman. And they didn’t disappoint with dramatics as the wedding couple arrived by helicopter to the amazement of all their guests. Incredible food from Artisan Catering and beautiful speeches (a few tears) were enjoyed before everyone danced under the stars on the outdoor dance floor with the lights twinkling away into the night! Anna + Josh created an incredible experience for all their friends and family to enjoy and we were so happy to help them pull it all together on the day! They headed off on an around the world skiing honeymoon after the wedding and I am sure this lovely couple has many more exciting adventures ahead of them…congratulations again Anna + Josh!
Lani & Bryan get married!
It was only a few days into 2013 when Lani + Bryan celebrated their wedding day with friends and family from around the world in Gibbston Valley. The beautiful outdoor ceremony took place on the lawn before guests enjoyed canapes and cockatils on the rooftop before heading into the rustic woolshed for their dinner reception. After a delicious dinner and some heartwarming speeches (and a special surprise video!) the guests moved back to the rooftop for al fresco dancing under the wing late into the night. Lani did an amazing job ensuring all details were perfectly planned over the year and we helped pull together all her hard work on the day! The groom’s mother arranged all the floral centerpieces and their grandfather hand painted all the tins! So much love, laughter and dancing made for an incredible evening for everyone and we are certain Lani + Bryan have many more years of fun and laughter ahead of them! Wedding Day Surprise
We kicked off March in very exciting fashion with a SURPRISE elopement!!! That's right, the bride had no idea she was getting married here in stunning Queenstown until the day before….her romantic groom had all the details lined up with us for months and we were so happy to see the sun was playing along so that we could fly off onto the mountain tops for their beautiful ceremony…all breathing a little easier now that we know she said yes!!!
Lincoln & Amy’s Wanaka Wedding
Lincoln + Amy travelled all the way from Hong Kong to celebrate their wedding day in the gorgeous surrounds of Rippon Winery in stunning Wanaka! Their friends and family travelled from around the world as well to celebrate their special day!
This beautiful couple was such a delight to work with over the year and they were so happy and comfortable with each other…there was no doubt it was true love! Amy wore THREE amazing dresses during the day as is somewhat of a tradition in Chinese culture…one for the pre-wedding tea ceremony, one for the ceremony and a beautiful blue one for the reception! Of course she looked stunning in all of them!! One last big congratulations to this absolutely adorable couple!
Queenstown Summer Wedding Romance
Anne Marie & Gareth are what we call 'Queenstown regulars'…they are in love with our mountain paradise and all it has to offer! Scheduling regular holidays to the town we call home has become a bit of a tradition for this kiwi + aussie couple!
This summer they decided to invite their friends + family along to share the love on their beautiful wedding day! This has to be one of our favorite wedding receptions of the summer…lots of bright and beautiful flowers, heaps of candlelight, glittering chandeliers and all the lovely details in between…this romantic but boho style theme mingled perfectly amongst the stunning surrounds of Peregrine Winery!
Having met this gorgeous couple on their first 'venue search' visit to Queenstown nearly a year ago, it was so much fun seeing it all come together on their stunning wedding day! Another HUGE congratulations to the newleyweds and no doubt we will be seeing you back here in our alpine playground sometime soon!
A Wedding day in Paradise
It was the perfect day in December when we were lucky enough to pull together the wedding plans for a gorgeous couple who traveled all the way from Tahiti to share their wedding day with their closest friends and family in a small place just outside Queenstown, called Paradise….after having a look through these pictures we think it would be hard to argue that there is any more suitable name! This had to be one of our favorite weddings of the summer with lots of styling and design that all came together to create a gorgeous rustic farm style wedding! We hope you love the pictures as much as we loved the day…enjoy! And as for R & R…we hope to see you back in our little slice of paradise one day and maybe we will be lucky to pop over to visit yours someday!

Suzanne & Tim wed in Queenstown
Suzanne and Tim were married along the shores of Lake Wakatipu on a beautiful December's day last year. It was a lovely intimate ceremony with their children and close family members. After the ceremony they flew everyone to the top of the Remarkables for some breathtaking wedding photos. Big congrats to Tim and Suzanne and we hope to see you and your gorgeous family back here in Queenstown someday soon!

Sarah & Mick’s Queenstown Wedding
Sarah & Mick made an absolutely gorgeous couple, and there was no way a few raindrops were going to put any damper on the celebrations. After a quick venue switch allowing them to enjoy the same stunning views with an indoor setting, the skies cleared and the newlywed couple headed up in a helicopter for some incredible photos before flying off to their cheering guests greeting them on arrival at their Skyline reception. It was a great day and such a fun loving group of friends and family to make the evening one to remember! HUGE congratulations to the happy couple and we know that their true love will bring them many more years of fun and happiness together!
